We were having dinner at John’s on Bleecker when we noticed that someone had left a toilet on the street. Over the course of the meal, a few people stopped to look at it, and one guy even went so far as to orient it parallel to the street, from its original placement in the middle of the sidewalk…
We paid for the pie and our beers, and walked out onto the street.
So here we are, Charlie sitting on the john outside of John’s.
I’ve known Peter for about 2 years, but we only really started talking frequently last summer. He’s a bartender at French Roast, a café in the West Village where I spend a lot of my off time when I’m not shooting.
I always look forward to sitting down for an hour or two (or three…) whenever Pete’s working. He’s a good guy.
Today I stripped two sync cables and made a male-male one so that I can use my flash on my Pentax 67. I can’t wait to blast with this thing at night.
Now to get my Hasselblad lens shade on the thing.
